The Temperament Converter allows an easy conversion from fractions of comma (known from tuning circle schemes) to deviations from equal temperament in cents (which are used in tuning machines and apps); as well as the other way round - changing a row of cents into a graphic circle of fifths.

It is not a precise mathematical calculator for theoretical purposes. The converter's formulas has been simplified for practical use and greater clarity (at the expense of result accuracy) for an average user - a musician or/and tuner.
